Gift Aid is a UK Government scheme that allows charities to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate – at no additional cost to you.
This means that if you donate £100, we can receive £125, simply by you ticking the Gift Aid box.
How it works
If you are a UK taxpayer, the Government allows us to reclaim the basic rate of tax you have already paid on your donation. This increases the value of your gift and helps us do even more.
Am I eligible?
You can use Gift Aid if:
- You are a UK taxpayer
- You are donating from your personal income or savings
Gift Aid cannot be applied to donations made:
- On behalf of someone else
- From company funds
If you choose to donate, you will receive a confirmation email after completing your donation. Within this email, you will see an option to “Add Gift Aid.”
Simply click this button and follow the steps to complete your Gift Aid declaration. Once done, your donation will be automatically eligible for Gift Aid and increased at no extra cost to you.
